Freeport

A Freeport is a base where anyone can dock. Most Freeports are owned by the Zoners, but the Independent Miners Guild has also adopted their Freeport philosophy on several stations. There are gaps in the enumeration of Freeports, but the Independent Miners Guild's Battleship Hood, Freistadt Base and the Zoners' Ames Research Station all serve as Freeports and could be considered Freeports 3, 8 and 11.
