Original Description
Edit
A "wolf in the night", this ship has enough expanded features to ensure that it has the advantage in equal armed conflict. The "Wolfhound" has enough armor and a generously amplified power output to easily wear down combatants, while also harboring enough cargo space to easily strip them down and carry off the spoils.
Comments
Edit
This is a very large heavy fighter. It costs as much as the Bounty Hunter's Barracuda and the the Kusari Dragon fighter, but comes with a reduced agility and larger size. This means that this fighter is very easy to hit. Despite that, it's cargo hold is smaller than that of the Barracuda. Furthermore, the turret only shoots backwards.
As a result, except dedicated pirate fans, this ship does not gain much popularity among players. If you do want to fly it, load it up with the most powerful guns you can - most likely only half of them will be firing at any one time, so you'll need all the firepower you can get, and are unlikely to run out of energy.
This fighter is the only one that can mount a turret in its class, except the LSF's Defender and The Order's Anubis.
The Wolfhound is the fighter used by Artifacts smuggler Sean Ashcroft during his smuggling run and standoff in the Colorado system during Mission 2, and in that mission, you have to destroy it and use tractor beam (press B on keyboard) to take in Ashcroft.
